The Course For Violence program provides meaningful content, including topics such as signs of domestic violence, family violence and child abuse, understanding the cycle of violence and stopping it, dealing with stress and the stress response, challenging automatic thinking, grievance, the after-effects of domestic abuse, legal issues, having a safety plan, learning how to communicate, stopping abuse, and resources and references. Our course instructor is a Certified Domestic Violence Specialist (CDVS-1), a Certified Anger Management Specialist (CAMS-1), a Certified Pretrial Services Professional (CPSP), and a Certified Treatment Provider registered by the National Association of Court Approved Treatment Providers (NACATP).
